The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Eternal Truth
Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. ~ Acts 20: 26-28
Oh that every preacher of the Gospel would be able to make such a statement with a clear conscious! How wonderful it would be if they could confidently say “I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God”. That they can face their Creator and say “I am pure from the blood of all men”. My God, raise up preachers with the conviction to not withhold anything from Your sheep. Give them the conviction to declare the full counsel of God. To proclaim what thus saith the Lord without restriction, with boldness and humility. We need these kind of preachers! Please raise them up! In Jesus name. Amen.

Devotional - Share the Gospel

It was this gentleman (Mr. Nyi), whose heart God had soften that asked Mr. Taylor a dreading question.
“How long have you had the Glad Tidings in England?” he asked all unsuspectingly.
The young missionary was ashamed to tell hm and vaguely replied that it was several hundreds of years.
“What,” exclaimed Nyi in astonishment, “several hundreds of years! Is it possible that you have known about Jesus so long, and only now have come to tell us?” “My father sought the truth for more than twenty years,” he continued sadly, “and died without finding it. Why do we hold on to this Everlasting Truth? The power of the Gospel? The one Truth that can lead us to the eternal presence of God Almighty? Help us Lord to spread Your word and never, ever be ashamed of it. Jesus, be high and lifted up. Thank You for the privilege to serve You. May we truly have a desire to serve You and see You glorified in every work we do.

We have need of patience, and our faithful God brings us into experiences which, improved by His blessing, may cultivate in us this grace. Though we seem to be tried at times almost, beyond endurance, we never find Him unable or unwilling to help and sustain us; and were our hearts entirely submissive to His will, desiring it and it only to be done, how much fewer and lighter would our afflictions seem. I have been in much sorrow of late, but the principal cause I find to be want of willing submission to, and trustful repose in, God, my Strength. Oh, to desire His will to be done with my whole heart…to seek His glory with a single eye! Oh, to realize more of the fullness of our precious Jesus…to live more in the light of His countenance, to be satisfied with what He bestows…ever looking to Him, following in His footsteps and awaiting His glorious coming! Why do we love Him so little? It is not that He is not lovely. “Fairer than the children of men” (Ps. 45:2)! It is not that He does not love us…that was forever proved on Calvary. Oh, to be sick out of love for Jesus, to be daily, hourly longing, hungering, thirsting for His presence!…May you find your love to Him ever increasing, and His likeness in you be apparent to all. Continue to pray for me…that will supply all my need, Jesus be all my delight, His service all my desire, rest with Him all my hope.

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Everyone goes through seasons of waiting. A lot of times, people just sit back and wait for God to do everything. But, you have to remember to do your part and make preparations. You have to talk like it’s going to happen and act like it’s going to happen.Some people might say, “Well, what if I do this and it doesn’t happen?” But I say what if you do and it does happen? And even if things don’t turn out the way you had hoped, you’d still be better off living your life positive and hopeful than you would to go around down and discouraged.
I love what David said in the Bible, “God, my times are in Your hands.” He was saying, “God, I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know You know what’s best for me.” I’m going to go out today expecting good things. And even if it doesn’t happen, I’m not going to go to bed all disappointed. I’m going to go to bed knowing that I’m one day closer to seeing my dreams and desires come to pass!
Amen! Be still and know that He is God. Wait on Him.
